I am a 3rd year Ph.D. student in the lab of Professor Alexis Komor at the University of California, San Diego. A United States Marine Corps veteran and mother of three, I am incredibly passionate about science accessibility. In everything I do, I seek to improve how challenging and complex scientific topics are communicated.
